  1. Hi, sorry if I’m missing something obvious, but I am unable to interact with any of my players.

I have just passed the first transfer window in England having started early pre season. I can’t comment on training, if a player has a concern and comes to me I have no options to discuss with them, just a blank screen. I can’t comment on player performances either. Has this stuff moved from Previous FMs?

  2. So I changed my AM4 motherboard to one with Dynamic OC switching. Asus crosshair x570 extreme. The ryzen 5950x now runs on PBO when it is drawing less than 65A and a static overclock of 4.55 all core (still tweaking) when more than 65A

Benchmark A was unchanged as this didn’t use more than 65Ato trigger the all core overclock.

    Benchmark B dropped to 5:47 from 6:00

    Benchmark C dropped from 7:05 to 6:33.

All other components remained the same.

    Hope this helps someone.

  3. So does that mean someone with a low interest will perform the job worse than someone who is interested?

or is it simply a case that it will be much harder to get a coach to accept a job as a scout, for example.

There are a lot of staff members with great stats for a job they aren’t that interested in.

Hey guys, what a great Thread and I'm looking forward run the fully benchmark on my laptop. I have run the A and B and will post it in the next days if i'm finished with all of them. But first i've a question. What is the most important hardware component for the fm? For sure it should be balanced to avoid bottlenecks. How much is the GPU and the RAM involved in the gaming speed? I think the GPU is also doing a lot of work, but maybe only in the 3D matches. I'm only playing in the text mode.

    My Laptop System:

    Model: MSI GE73 VR

    CPU Model: i 7 7700 HQ

    CPU Base Frequency: 2.8 GHz

    CPU Turbo Frequency: 3.8 GHz

    RAM: 16GB

    RAM Clockspeed: 2400 MHz

    GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 8GB

Graphics Level in 3D: Very High

    Storage Type: SSD

I dont know exactly my first result, but i think i'll be in the last third. Is it worth a try to go on 32 GB RAM? If it only will take me 10 seconds faster it isnt worthy. But for 2-3 minutes i'd take it. Have somebody tested it?

My setup gives me a readout of ram usage. Even with all leagues loaded and a very high detail setting where I fully simulate the leagues in many countries I have never used more than 9gb ram for the whole system. This includes having other background programmes and browser tabs open playing YouTube. I recently swapped 32gb ram for 16gb of faster ram and it made my system ever so slightly faster.

    Benchmark C: 7 min 05 sec

    Benchmark D: 13 min 07 sec

OK So I did a bit of playing around in the BIOS and switched my memory from another system. So I am now running 3733mhz Cl 13 2x8gb (My FCLK will not hit 1900 on this BIOS)

I used Maaartio's memory timings as a reference point. and turned all the voltage settings on my motherboard up to 11. The CPU was at times pulling 240W where before it was maxing at 145W. Some small improvements up until benchmark D!

    Benchmark A: 1 min 22 sec (Unchanged)

    Benchmark B: 5m 52 sec

    Benchmark C: 6 min 51 sec

    Benchmark D: 12 min 03 sec

Hello, sorry, but I don't speak English. I test the RAM all the time and it's not the optimal setting yet. Waiting for the new UEFI AGESA for my gigaybet x570. At the moment my record in D is: 13 minutes 25 seconds (3600 14-14-14-14-28). See screen. I do not remember the previous timings of 3200 and 13 min. 34 sec

Thank you for sharing your RAM timings. I have tried them on my system and WOW what a difference they make.

    I really appreciate your help!

Thank you! I wanted to see how much the timings made a difference. It shows to me that your better memory timings give you more of a boost than I get for having 16 cores.

Awesome! I'm kinda jealous with my 3950x. Do you have any possiblility to OC the RAM to 4000MHz?  Or activate PBO? Just to see if there is still room for improvement?:D

    Cheers

I’ve had a little play around. Ram wise I’m limited, I think a BIOS revision may help here as I’m on a beta bios.

for PBO it does make a bit of difference. The cpu will boost pass 5ghz on single core and 4.6 on all cores.

i’ve tried a Static overclock but the power consumption goes up massively and I can only get 4.4 stable.

  10. Hi,

when playing matches on my ultra wide monitor (3440x1440) the pitch and players look like they are being stretched to fit the screen. Apart from switching to windowed mode and watching the game at 16:9 instead of 21:9 is there any way to adjust the game? For example putting the “touch line tablet” beside the pitch instead of as an overlay? The stretched pitch is making the touch lines appear as flashing zig zag lines.
It’s only during the matches that I notice any issues all other screens look great.

    thanks in advance

  11. I have to say I was blown away with the 5950x it was a big purchase but selling my old 3900x helped. Of course it also helped that I could keep the same RAM and motherboard which is nice.
I will have a look at overclocking This week. ASUs has just made an updated BIOS which seems better. The first one I had wouldn’t boot with the RAM above 3000mhz. The second one seems happy at XMP so I will see if it can go further.

On my 3900x I noticed memory timings were much more important than speed. I will have a check on PBO too, it made no difference at all on the 3900x so let’s see if it works on this chip.

spire and prism are, stealth are not good for overclocking. I didn't expect 4.0 on stock but these temps on 3.9 are worrying sometimes (in games like poe or racing games I had 80-85 max, but on benchmarks it was spiking to 100).

On my 2600x I found that adding a 240mm AIO did not help me overclock any further than 3.9. I then changed my motherboard to an MSI gaming x one (from a cheap gigabyte) and was able to get 4.2ghz.😀
