  1. I feel like wingers work when you have someone else attacking the space a IF would attack. So a W(S) and a CM(A) work really well for me in a 433.

Also you need to think about your LB/RB. It's going to depend on your system, if you want to stay back or play with quick transitions I think FB/WB work well. However if you intend to hold the ball or play against low blocks a lot I think it's a bit too unidimensional to have two players on the wing that just want to stay on the wing. This can probably be fixed by doing something like: play narrow + W stay narrow + WB stay wide (to force an overlap)

In previous FMs I hated the W(A) because all they did was: run with the ball, cross, cross is blocked, get a corner, repeat. For this reason I haven't used a W(A) yet, but wingers feel better this year so maybe a W(A) is viable.

On my 433 I play on the right side with a W(S), CM(A) and IWB(S). Works well, really pressures the opponent's half space and frees the winger (that is always the widest player on that flank) for 1v1s. Can be a bit weak against counters if they have a wide player up front, far away from my IWB

  2. I managed to get my IW(A) (CM strata) to get a 7.28 score in the Portuguese League as Porto (easy league I know). In the UCL he currently has a 7.10. We're overachieving and I don't know how long this form will last, but we're demolishing everything and I'm really happy with the flow and movement of this tactic.

    This tactic is super simple:

    • DLF(A) frees space for the IW(A) to attack in the back of the defence (also can feed him the ball).
    • Focus play left/right helps with freeing up space on the other flank and support the current flank (this avoids endless crossing and helps keep possession).
    • W(S) and RPM are able to switch the play to the other flank and pass to the AF(A)'s runs.
    • Lots of one-twos and movement between the strikers and wingers (with the RPM's and fullbacks help).
    • Deadly counter-attacks.

The tactic is great vs the parked buses in the Portuguese League (something that I've always struggled with), also does really well in Europe or vs similar teams - in these situations I change my defensive line to Standart and Lower LOE, and maybe change the passing directness to standart.

My first variation of this tactic was not as good, as soon as I switched the DLF(A) to the left It changed everything! The IW(A) started actually running behind and through the defence all the time and the left flank stopped being very predictable and one dimensional (AF(A) and IW(A) were just trying to run through and behind the defence).

So imo if you want your IW(A) to have great ratings you need:

    • good playmakers to feed him the ball.
    • your strikers to free up space for him to attack
    • an overall unpredictable attack. If you're just passing him the ball and hope he becomes Robben and dribbles past everyone you're gonna have a bad time (well, unless he's Robben )

  3. Hi.

Im playing as FC Porto, currently im on the 7th of January 2021. Manchester United made an offer for Otávio, while talking to Otávio he makes it clear he wants to join Man Utd for the money.

After selecting "Lets talk figures here, you obviously know what you want so let's discuss it" the meeting instantly ends.

If I select "I've no intention of letting you go; what's it going to take to keep you here?" I'm forced to select "Lets talk figures" or "We can't afford...". If I select "Lets talk figures" coming from this conversation path the same happens.

So, in short, everytime I select  "Lets talk figures here, you obviously know what you want so let's discuss it" the meeting instantly ends and the following happens:

    - No promisses were made with Otávio, even after a few days.

    - Otávio's minor issue still stands.

    - The option to "Persuade player to stay" disappears.

    - Otávio is not willing to renew the contract.

The first uploaded image shows the  start of the meeting. The second shows what happens after selecting the "Lets talk figures" option.
