Unfortunately he left the club and the clause was not respected...

So I have this situation where I picked up an old goalkeeper last season on a one year deal with a one year extension if we do not relegate and he plays 20 games. As his contract was expiring in 6 months in the January window he was approached by multiple clubs and he agreed with one. Now the season just finished and he did play more than 20 games and we did not relegate.
Is this a bug and contract breach or are these clauses not binding?

yeah i guess the am started from stretch but i dont know why. there already was an agreement. there was no thinking behind letting the am handle it. after i talked with the board and they agreed to add funds i simply got an email from am stating he will handle it further, i had no decision to make.

Hi frazt, maybe I wasn't clear in my first post but the assman agreed on 30k a week as fringe player and I agreed before on 17,5k and important. He also offered three times as much signing fee as i did. To be clear, i had no choice, after I got the email stating there was not enough budget available I had 3 options: cancel, delay or talk with board. So I talked with board and they agreed to add funds. after this I got an email from assman stating that he will handle it, then I got the confirmation email it was al signed (but for way more than I initially agreed with player one). So what I don't understand is why my initial agreement with player couldn't be honoured after board added funds as this was a more favourable agreement for the club.

Hey guys, in my save with Palermo I just came across something what I think is a bug. So in the last few days of the transfermarket I try to squeeze one more transfer in with little budget. So the offer included a selling team wage contribution and I also agreed contract with the player. Then the board came to me saying the budget was not enough. This was because agent and signing fee I guess. However the board agreed with me that the was an important signing and made additional budget free. Then I got an email from my assman stating he will handle further contract negotiation. He offered and agreed with the player twice as much wage and three times as much signing bonus, also he proposed the player a fringe role while i agreed on important player??

Yes this is painful to watch. Wingers and wingbacks have loads of space and people in the box, instead of an early cross they will dribble towards crowded areas to sweep in a cross and see it blocked by the defense.... for a corner. I also feel early cross instructing doesn't make a difference. The only way to fix this is to get players with loads of pace, flair and dribbling and the trait knocks balls past opponents, then you will rarely see they can dribble pass a defender and cross.
But the game is broken on more places, for example I play in 343, my wingers will never track back the oppositions wing/fullbacks (i have this instruction set). They just refuse to do this, from here the opposition do find some early crosses sometimes. Annoying. Thats why i'm pretty sure the only good working tactics in fm21 are possesion based tactics where u overload the opposition with players in the attacking area, the goal here is to just score more than you concede on counters. I find it really dificult to play with weak teams and be solid from the back and counter. Just doesn't work.

Hey Ben, I think I encountered a bug again with Dodo or in general. So the way I ended up finding a loan for Dodo was to buy Diallo from PSG and to exchange Dodo on a season long loan. Club and player excepted but now PSG didn't register him either for domestic and champions league. It doesn't state Ine but is just blank. This seems odd to mee because they still have 2 available non EU spaces left for the domestic league, also he would be one their best rb choice.

Unfortunately I don't have a save before June 2021. Solved the issue temporarily with a season long loan to PSG and bringing in Semedo on a season long loan from Wolves. Hopefully I can register him the next season. Hopefully PSG will register and play him (they didn't yet but the window is still open).

Hi guys, im fairly new to fm and I encountered a registration issue in my second year with Napoli. So in the first season the board told me that I had 2 non EU spots and 1 was already taken. I signed Taison from Shakthar as 2 and all was fine. Midway the season I bought Matias Arezo and agreed that he will be joining Napoli in the summer of 2021. So far so good. Fast forward to the end of the season, my rb Hysaj had no intention to renew his contract so I started searching for a replacement and found Dodo from Shakthar and agreed terms that he will be joining summer 2021.
Now the new season start and I get an email that there is only 1 spot available for a new non EU player and that he has to meet some criteria (national caps). Well Dodo doesn't meet this so that is a problem. Now this email state that I could free up an extra non EU spot without any criteria if I sell or loan an existing non EU player to a club abroad or terminate his contract (This already happend as Hysaj left for Arsenal on a free).
But that wasn't enough as I still couldn't register Dodo. So after trying to offload some non EU players which didn't work out I terminated 1 non EU contract thinking all wil be good. But this is not the case, I still can't register Dodo, his status is (grey) Ine. At the same time i never registered Arezo.
I fail to see why i'm not meeting criteria here...

Indeed it's a for the player, but it doesn't make any sense that there is no room for negotiating as the player asked to move himself.
