I can’t seem to find anywhere to set nicknames on my players anywhere on fmt22 Xbox series s. I had an old save with Ajax and I was able to do it. Maybe I’m dumb and can’t find the button but I cannot find it anywhere anymore

My player search function does not account for all the players in the database. I tried to fix it, but there seems to be no scouting package menu on the Xbox edition. How can I get a bigger package or increase the scope of my player search?

Basically all you want to do is back out to be main menu, go to settings press drop down menu and go to user interface and slide hd mode slider

A lot of my wonderkids always have their full *Full* names, or sometimes a player does something memorable and I would like to give them a nickname. I hope this feature could come to fm mobile

To give an over-simplified explanation, basically some things are swapped with other players to prevent people 'predicting' easily which players will be good in the future - we started doing this because otherwise there were a few players who could be spotted because they might be the only player active of their particular nationality etc.
The reason they are partially based off the existing players is to ensure we can efficiently retain database coherence long-term (otherwise we'd have to keep rerunning analysis of the database to make sure the balance is kept, which would slow down the game speed).
Is it totally new player generation in the pc or touch/console version?

Are the players generated in game in fmm21 and 22newly generated players made by the game or regens off retiring players?

Please I would like to edit reserve tactics also I would like to know how to change the menu type from the grid... other wise this is an awesome game

Around a year and a half ago, I asked how the regen system in FMM22 worked.
”The way FMM works - newly generated players are partially based on existing players, however their nationality, positions and attributes can change upon regeneration.”
Obviously, this is different from fm and fm touch, who generate new, original players to balance and fill the database, dubbed “newgens”
Of course, this feature wasn’t present in mobile in years past, due to computional limitation of mobile phones, but as the years go by, and phones continue to make leaps and bounds compared to performance
(my iPhone 8 and 13 run fm touch on Apple Arcade flawlessly, with several leagues)
(fm touch also uses the newgen system)
I think a newgen system wouldn’t add to the complexity of the game, making it harder for pick-up-and-play type of users, but massively increase replay value for those like me who pick up the new version every november.
