but you can still fine and discipline first team players. Seems odd to remove it for some players and not others

Prior to the update I was always able to fine my youth or reserve team players if they had a match rating performance in their youth or reserve teams under 6.5. Since the update this option now seems to be removed??
Fining youth players for poor performances was good way to aid player development - half a weeks wage fine there was a chance the players determination, work rate or teamwork would increase. That option is now gone.
I've read through SI updates list and no mention of the changes. Anyone else having this problem??

missing lots of pens since the update. Ivan Toney has missed 3 out of 4.

Has anyone been able to fine a youth player for a bad performance in a game? Since the update I've been unable to do this. Before the update I would regularly fine a player in the youth team for a 6.5 and below performance to help boost determination, work rate or teamwork.
Anyone else having the same issue?

Either the first or the last one.
I'd phone them first and quote the laptop over the phone make sure they have it at that store. If not they can order it for you.
Thank you. I'll do that and give them a call in an hour when they open to see if either laptop is available today.

The nearest electronics store to me is Curry (not ideal) and based on your suggestion are the following laptops (which are available to purchase today in-store) also suitable for what I am after (2D matches and between 5-10 leagues loaded on a large database)

Three days ago I had a disaster and my year old Macbook Air just stopped turning on - its currently with Apple, but I have been told to not expect it back for at least 10 working days. I was enjoying my FM22 save and about to enter my sixth year where i had my team set up perfect, I've been having withdraws ever since and don't want to keep reading people's saves stories on here to crave my appetite for FM
While I wait to receive my laptop back I've decided to go and get a laptop to tide me over. Extravagant maybe, but I've got a bit of spare cash, quite a bit of time on my hand this month and desperately want to carry on playing FM22.
Looking for some help to find a Windows laptop around the £500 price tag that will allow me to load between 5-10 leagues and play on 2D - I never play on 3D. I have no real experience of buying windows laptops or machines and keen to be pointed in the right direction of where i can pick one up fairly quickly and if £500 is good enough to buy a machine for what I'm after. I've taken a quick look online, but no idea what is good value.
Appreciate any advice.

if you are looking at Rangnick for inspiration, i would have a mentality on at least positive, or perhaps a FB on Attack if you wish to keep team mentality on Balance - which can be good in a two-man midfield. You're right to play Narrow, I would also play with a higher tempo. If you want quick transistion, have your GK distribute quickly, perhaps over opposistion defence, or to the flanks.
I would also up the pressing intensity and LoEs and select tighter marking. Get Stuck In is a good option, but watch out for yellow cards.
Most importantly, you need good players with great stamina determination, work rate, bravery, anticipation along with pace and aggression in a few of your players. For training, always train your players in Teamwork to improve cohesion, really helps high intensity pressing teams.

This is superb. After many versions not going anywhere near 442, this year I've decided to go for a hard working 442 - more inspired by Clough. However, thoroughly looking forward to reading more from you.

Yes, after flagging it myself on the beta, it was one of the first things i looked at when i loaded my first save. I was really pissed off when i saw it wasn't fixed. I don't know why either, because you are right, it is just cosmetic.
