This season went a lot better. Avoiding a relegation battle feels like a big step in the right direciton. Something we hopefully can continue building on.

The youth intake was similar to last year. A couple of players with good potential but very poor in terms of current ability.

The board agreed to upgrade both junior coaching and youth recruitment this season so we now have average junior coaching and

adequate youth recruitment. Hopefully that means our intake will be better next season.

 

Something i did not notice during the season was that we apparently struggled at home but were really good away from home.

So i will have to figure out a new game plan for our home games next season. If we are able to win at home and keep playing this well away from home

we might be looking at a solid season next year. Hopefully.

The club signed a player before i arrived at the club and had one pending transfer which i promptly cancelled.

 

We spent almost the entire season fighting at the bottom of the table, and the second half of the season constantly on the verge of being sacked.

The fans even had a weekly poll on whether i should be sacked for about a month.

 

With a win in the last game of the season we just about managed to avoid automatic relegation thanks to goal difference.

Going in to the last four games i did not have high hopes of surviving, so being able to stay up with a 6-1 win in the playoff game was a pleasant surprise.

 

The youth intake preview did not look amazing but i was cautiously optimistic hoping for a good intake.

The youth intake did not provide much in terms of current ability, but with most players having a decent personality i'm hoping someone will improve and be able to step into the first team relatively soon.

 

I did manage to convince the board to improve our youth recruitment despite them not having much faith in me.
