Hi, ever since I got a new laptop EHM refuses to start properly. It runs for a few seconds and then stops.
I've already looked into the solutions some people have proposed for this bug and none of them are working for me. I've deleted the files from the Temporary folder in Users, I've tried launching with "-windowed", tried disabling sounds and verifying the game files. The closest I got came from changing my screen resolution, booting up the game (which at least started this time), and changing the resolution back. But this made the game all stretched, none of the buttons matched with the spots to click them, and I couldn't place the game in a window even though I tried selecting "windowed" and "borderless windowed" modes.
Can anyone help me out? It's frustrating that it seems the size of my screen is keeping me from running the game properly.

If it helps, my resolution is 1920x1080.
