  1. not even started season but been busy, pleasantly surprised with some of the quality I got maybe the dregs as I joined late pre season but we now have 2 players per position and an actual squad, feel more attached to this save already .

Couple I am hopeful with defensively Hockenhull from Man Utd and very cheap wage be surprised if I can keep him that long, and Reeves from Chesterfield who looks to have plenty of potential.

Attacking wise bought in a few very raw pick of which is probably Conor Carty from Wolves got enough about him to at least reach conference national if he develops and again a cheap wage

    thanks all

Not unheard of . And, yes, starting without experience or badges is always a struggle - I always let the game set the recommended levels. But good luck with the current gig... I take it you're playing a journeyman career?

I am now sir :) Just been laughed at applying for Sligo so this could end faster than it started. Did a quick trial run with Macclesfield which I might start again

Welcome! Non-league to legend is always a fun trip if you survive the first stages. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you struggle a bit - many of us have been there.

    Good luck

thanks Warlock and love your updates

Well I got sacked in October (in 19th they finished 22nd) :) going in with no coaching badges no rep was maybe a bad move as the senior players hated me from day one, surprisingly managed to sign one very good youngster from Ireland who I will try and get back if I can get back into English football. Had to go to Northern Ireland Div 1 for a gig and kept a side up who were doomed in Feb, actively looking for any job back in England as we speak
