[FM24 Early Access Official Feedback Thread]

Hey. 

After playing the game for what I can only assume is a totally unhealthy amount in the last few days, I have noticed that crossing from the by-line   seems to be far to overpowered in terms of a method of both scoring and conceding goals. Hopefully, other can offer convergence on this if my current experience is representative. If that is the case, hopefully the match engine will be tweaked like in previous years i.e changing to probability of scoring 1 vs 1 etc, to reflect other players styles being effective. 

 

[Set Piece Issues.]

Hey. 

I'm playing on touch. 

Not sure if anybody else has experienced this, but I have left all the of the set piece instructions on default, whilst simply training for set piece on the training option. After around 50 hours of gameplay I have literally never scored from a direct corner or from a crossing based free kick into  the box, whilst the A.i scores these vs myself at a rate of 1 every 2 games. 

Has anybody else experienced this ?

 Hey.

Not sure if this an intentional design feature or an issue with the Gui, but whenever I switch the Match engine to 2d classic mode the players name do not appear around much in the same way they do on other camera angles. 

Also, when I attempt to move players position in specific formation at half time the position which they can be changed  to do not appear in the formation screen, hence I have to essentially guess were the game allows me to place their pre determined position i.e I cannot see were I can move the Striker to Amc, I just have to guess were the pre determine option is.

[Match Engine Flaws Set Pieces.]

HI. 

I assume I am not the first individual to point this out, but atleast on this current enginge the majority of goals are either scored or conceded via set places. At least in my experience, around 50 percent of the goals I concede are from throw ins, not directly into the box, but the person who receives the ball will pass it into the middle or cross into the box and they will score from there.  Any tips on how to alleviate this issue, as I tested a multitude of different set piece instructions  yet the same errors occurs. The same also seems to apply to corner but to a lesser degree.
