Oh I forgot to mention, since I configured the public beta I now get crash dumps!

It was whatever version Steam had updated it to, I saw some other posts so I'm now using the public beta 19.3.6-1242975 (m.e.v1931).

I have used an editor but as I say it worked fine for 7 or 8 months of the season before this started happening when I tried to play on new year's day.

I have two other backups, one didn't, I'm trying the other one right now.

I was playing about with this last night, the only way I can get the game to proceed past the problem date is if I quit my job as manager and remain unemployed.

Hi All,

Has anyone seen any crashing happening on a certain date in the game? I play a game, win 5-0, shortly between that and the next one it crashes at the news/calendar/results type screen. I revert to a previous save (before the 5-0) play that, win 1-0, then the game crashes at the exact same point. There is no crash dump, the window just closes.

I doubt it's the pc as I've also done a completely fresh installation on my laptop and the exact same thing happens there at the same point.

FM 2016/18 work fine on the same machine. This is the only career I have in 2019 so far and this is pretty frustrating.
