I am trying to create an empty database to play with regens only and deleting players has been a nightmare with the fm22 editor, i did the same thing with fm21 editor and it was very fast compared to 22, is there a config or settings that can help fasten things up

If you take a look into the tactics forum you will see that this happens already in the game.
The tactical representation you see is the defensive shape. So if you set up a 4-1-4-1 that's how the team will defend. With roles and duties you can make that formation change when attacking, for example into a 4-2-3-1.

I would like to suggest an option to change the formation when attacking and defending
For exemple: i would like to defend in a 4-4-2, but when attacking with the ball change the formation to a 4-2-3-1
A lot of teams use this in real life, and i believe the game could use this aswell.

as a geography nerd I support this, would be nice to see your team traveling in a minimap with a plane, like from lisbon -> london
