Looks like there is a new patch out. When can we expect the patchnotes?
It's like a 1 byte patch ^^

If the human player usually plays with an higher defensive line, why he has 6-7 long ball each game resulting in a 1vs1 for him? So it's not that the IA plays more defensive and low because the IA concede the same amount of 1vs1 of the human player.

You can discuss any other part of this feedback with me though, I just can't be bothered with the back-and-forth silliness. Capiche?
You don't want a counter argument about the ME because in fact you show no arguments. What you like about the ME of this year it's the new animations for the most. Not the tactical side of the ME. The fact that players are almost falling but then they keep on running should with a good animation should be one of the plus of the ME, not one of the best part. In fact you criticize the long ball, the keepers and ofc the 1vs1.

Hello guys. I'm new on the forum, but i'm a long term Football Manager player with my brother(since the 2006 version, when i was 14teen, without skipping any year the day one of the game even if there wasn't so much money left for a game). I read more or less all the 88pages of the thread and i'm not here to flame or to sh** on a franchise that i absolutely love, but what i read from some people, even Neil(in the end he said that the game is fine and it needs some tweaks here and there), it's a bit shocking. First of all i want to apologize with you for my bad english, but i'm italian and you know, yes you know xD
I want to start listing all the big problems that i founded in the game(i've cloacked 120 hours in 40 days):
Too much 1vs1 situations, to the point that the best tactic it's the 4312 with short passages and the instruction to the keeper to play the ball short. My brother is playing with Lazio(and i'm making a run from Serie B to the CL title so i haven't the best players and i'll bring his team as an example even if all this issues are the same for me) and he has Haland. His play was so basic: play the ball on his half and then boom, long ball for Haland. He has kinda 5-6-7 clear 1vs1 with the Keeper every game. In Real life it's so rare to see a 1vs1 situation from the center of the pitch in every game. Imagine 5-6 every damn game.
The other problem it's a relative thing: Players not scoring 1vs1 situations even if they have 16+ on finalization, cold blood and so on. Someone said that the convertion rateo it's so close to the real life rateo. Well, in real life you won't have 6 clear chances per game 1vs1 on the penalty area(in the center of the penalty area, not from any angle), without someone making pressure or marking you like in FM 2020. And then, just to clarify things, i'm a Juventus fan, and this year i saw 6-7 times our strikers going 1vs1 with the keeper in 3 months. And we have 3 goal of CR7 all canceled by Var, 1 goal of Douglas Costa vs Lokomotiv, 2 stunning save for the keeper vs Dybala(Cagliari and Lazio). And Dybala didn't aim for the keeper(like in FM), aimed for the net.
Another thing: wingers not crossing anymore. Fm19 was the cross-fest. This year we've got no crosses at all. Then what about players shooting from impossible angles with the teammate waiting for the ball onside with almost empty net? What about the higher chances to score from corner or set pieces that has the CPU? What about the bug of players like Asensio with High rating on penalty not scoring once?(i have the statistics for Lazio because i smell bulls*** after the 2 misses; he shoot 9 penalty in 2 years with 9 save from the keeper). Every year we've broken penalty till January by the way. What about the enemy team down 2-0 on the first half, then scoring once around 60-70 and then making the remuntada between 85-95 and winning 3-2?(that's another "bug" that we have almost every year, but on FM19 it was perfect)
I listed the major problems of the game. You can't really say that the game is fine, because it isn't. The match engine is broken on some levels(i think the first 2 problems could be solved simply making defenders defending better[aka no more six 1vs1 per game] and then boosting the finishing of the players).
We play the game till many years that we know if someone is broken or not. We know you know the game has big issues. But i'm so worried about the last answer where Neil talks about the convertion rateo in real life being similar(and i explained why it isn't similar at all). The point is that at the moment the game is almost unplayable. I'll make this example and i'll close my post just to make a point. There are 2 point of view of fixing bugs: If Counterstrike: GO has a real quality of life problem with the game, and they understand that today, well tomorrow u'll get the patch who will fix the glitch/bug/problem. If Fifa has a career mode bug/glitch that make the game almost unplayable, they don't care and maybe they will fix it after 45 days like it happened this year. And with the ME this year, you'are acting like EA, the worst company in the world for the press. It was just an example, i know it's far more complicated to adjust a ME than fixing some stability bugs or so on. But u have 50 days of feedbacks, and now you said there are holidays. I mean, can i say it's pathethic?
Sorry for the lenght and for the english.
