  1. It does actually, but the interface is just ruined. The resolution ingame does not match the one on the screen even it say so. But the game wont open in 2K either so I guess there is some techniqual issues in the game.

I had to change to 1080 resolution, turn on the window mode. But then the interface is not customizable enough.

This game is really made to be played on a laptop I guess :D Not a problem for me, as I usually play on a laptop. But a AAA grand strategy game made in 2021 should really not have this issues

  2. Ive bought every FM ever and played since CM. But now Im seriously done, im not supporting this anymore. I will give 23 a miss, or at least hold on and see if there is massive improvments all over, from QoL to ME, interface, and the techniqual issues sorted. The ME in 22 is slightly better than last year. but that doesnt say much, the ME in FM21 was so bad.

  3. I have two Samsung Oddysey G9 monitors, they are 49 inch and is run as one 5120x1440 and the other is run as dual monitors in 2 x 2560x1440. My main screen is the one run as 49 inch 5120x1440, every game, internet browser is open on this one as it is set as my main screen.

However, FM is opening on the other screen and the it does not fit the screen resolution and I cant change the resolution in the meny and the window mode is greyed out. Why does not FM open on my main monitor as every other game I have ever played do?

    How can I change this?

Yeah, it's that as well, but I don't really see the huge need for release notes personally, I think it's a nice thing to have. But for the software company I work for, we have logs as to how many actually opens the document for the release notes, and let's just say, I think I could host it on a potato and no one would miss it...

Well, COD is mostly a PvP game, I doubt they patch things up much for the single player part...

They do, but it doesnt matter anyway. To be fair the beta last more than two weeks, and nothing wrong with that. Its so many reports that doesnt make it in the full release so I really dont understand why they just dont extend the beta period. But notes on updates, and release are quite common. People usually make a big deal out of it aswell, looking forward to read them etc

Yes, and I agree, if it had been a patch. But you don't have release notes in a new game. You don't see devs pushing out "these are the issues we fixed before the game was released" in any game. They do whenever they do an actual patch (as they did just now, where they stated the they fixed crashes for Korean language).

Now, I agree, that since we here on the forum have mostly played the Beta, it feels like we got a patch, but in reality we just finally got the real game and what we played before was just a sneak peak.

Well, Call of duty just did it. And hundreds of the 550 games I have in my steam library have done it, expecially the aRpgs I play

No, it hasn't and that's been stated by SI themselves:

"In terms of ME AI changes, there was nothing major, but there were changes to fix various bloopers/refereeing issues and some minor balancing (but nothing that would drastically affect how the ME plays yet)"

For all intents and purposes its basically the same as Beta

I know what I see, its for sure not the same as in the beta. This post you link to doesnt answer anything anyway, what is major? what is balancing? It has changed, Even the 1 vs 1, thankfully. The AI probably not, but the players Im managing for sure doesnt act like they did a week ago

I know in theory the ME was not modified from beta to full release... But I'm seeing a lot of the things that annoyed me from FM20 back again. The bullets long shots from players with 5 on that attributes, the missiles and long passes from center backs who looks like Pirlo, and even the general pace of the game it's higher right now.

Anyone else having this feeling? Maybe it was just a couple of bad matches.

I see the same, dont know how to define modify or change, but the long shot midfielder merchants are back, so are the long balls splitting the defense, the defenders seems alot more uninteligent, the annoying offsides, there are for sure some ghosts from FM20 ME back. Its for sure not the same it was during the beta period

  8. When you loan a player that is not used in the role his manager expect him to play, he complains every, and I mean every week. Its abit excessive when you are a club dependent on loan players, it gets so tedious clicking on the same response the same on 7-10 players every week.

Its probably not a bug per-se but when its this excessive it gotta be treated like one. It sure its not tested, cause that tester would have gone mental. This just gotta go please

Which is exactly why a bug forum for the full game was put up, because it is never going to happen that a game is released that has literally zero bugs. There's always bound to be something off, whether that's a typo in code or whatever, and it benefits everyone for people to report them if they spot them, so they can be looked into and hopefully resolved.

Of course :) But if there is alot of bugs on full release maybe extend the testing phase or the beta period then, just a taught. Have a nice day!

    November 18th game released..

Dec 18th, game is 20.2.1, so, thatt means AT LEAST 3 patches released within the first month.. how many more games know in advance that within 2 months thier database will be outdated and plan for it, and release an update for it to cover that?

Mate, how many strategy games do you really play?

3 patches since 18th November, and they are patches. Other game has content updates for free alot more than once a year. You dont have to defend FM, this is really nothing to discuss. Its so evident, just go and play other strategy games. You see the patches and bug fixes are continues all through the year and with often free content updates

imagine knowing you know more than people with degrees and years of work/on job experience...

ok why is the boiler not heating up as expected? pressure? installation? pipes? oh wait, you mean there is a fault but there can be multiple causes for it? and changing one thing can cause faults elsewhere? wow. that's almost like simulating a ME in a football manager game.. ya change a little piece of code,, hoping to tweak something, and all hell breaks loose, it changes transfers, board reactions, player loyalty and not to mention what it does to the advertising hoardings on the pitch...

SI do their damndest every year to get the game out in the best shape possible, and also do their damndest to correct and update for issues that are found. how many other companies do this? no game is ever perfect, or bug free..

About every company that release a grand strategy game, FM are the game I play that get the least attention to bug fixing, patching and updates
