Hoping for a miracle Winter patch (not confident though) in a week or two to save FM20, if not, it's 100% the worst ME ever created IMO.

Let's be honest here hope is minimal cause they launched a ME patch before the typical last one end feb/early march.

I ask to myself how many years i will have to play FM17. It's the first time in my life i skip 3 editions of this game that is too much time.

Played a few hours of FM 17 today. ME is just (relatively) brilliant. But I'm about 10 years into my save there, and and there are only 3! newgen inside forwards in the world who can play in my good but no so great Benfica team. Almost all the AML and AMR's are wingers, and that by itself just kills the long term gameplay. Newgens and AI's player development is so far ahead in FM 20, it is not even comparable, so kudos to SI for that.

 

The perfect solution here would be the FM17 ME with all FM20 features because apart of that the game is amazing but that is impossible i guess.

We are not the only one who thinks FM17 ME is still the best i hope they reconsider the situation and go back to the right direction. Sometimes you have accept critics and go a couple of stepbacks for advance one.

There is a lot of people who have the same opinion. The ME is almost the same for a decade it's time for a change. The rest of the game with the new features and all it's amazing. What more do you want to add?

At the end of the day you want to have fun during matches. About the non match engine staff they are doing great what is the problem?¿  Just keep going and help the ME one.

ME is almost the same since 2009. Actually 12,15 and 17 have better ME than 20.

The vast majority of the goals I see (scored and conceded) are long range shots or set pieces (or often a combination of the two). My first season ended with my centre mid (Klich) being far and away my top goalscorer. 95% of the good chances that are created either get blasted at the keeper or blasted into the side netting from an absolutely impossible angle.

The game itself is fun and addictive to play, but toiling through matches with this engine is hard work and takes away from the game. 

I fell away from playing the game after last year's winter update as it became apparent that the match engine would suffer for the rest of FM19 - the hope was that FM20 would be able to break free of these issues. 

So I'm not really sure what else to say - sorry if this comes across as negative or overly critical of people's work. Just want to enjoy the game we've all loved for a long time.

Keep playing FM17 like me bro the last decent ME.

Hey guys Im trying demo but i have stutter/lag and under 60fps (around 50) in the 3D all the time. I have I7 9700K 2080 rtx and 32GB RAM (3200) what the hell is happening here. Please help.
