Is it really that big of a deal to you that you have to look at a rainbow flag in the crowd? Would you prefer there to be homophobic fanbases like in Brazil to add to your realism experience?

Dunno how this sort of commentary is allowed to fly on here tbh.

Why shouldnt it? Hes just as entitled to his opinion as SI are entitled to use rainbow flags.

This whole cancel/block/delete anything that doesnt conform to the standard of that particular day is ludicrous.

I think it might be worth giving it a go.

I like to turn first windows off, so the game mirrors real life from the start. I had a feeling team cohesion would be very low with celtic.

Id seen a couple of youtube saves where they are really struggling, so it looks interesting as to why that would be the case.

Ive got another league as Beijing Institute Of Technology FC which is frankly impossible. Id like something closer to home.

Would be good to compare progress!

Go for it - its certainly the more difficult challenge of the two teams, thats for certain.

Im aiming to do the ten, but already i've got an unhappy want-away Goldson, a lot of aging players (McG, Davis, Balogun, and to a lesser extent due to playing time Defoe), and no budget to replace them, so season two might not be as straightforward.

Here are my results since the Olympiacos game -

We were thumped at Benfica, then robbed at Inter - Helander & Bassey were injured leading up to the game, At 1-0, Barisic went off injured & Patterson was prematurely forced to make his first appearance since returning from a hernia to come on for him, but three minutes later bloody Tavernier went off as well! So my back four for the last 30 was an unfit Balogun at left-back, a lacking sharpness Katic, an unhappy Goldson & a completely unfit Patterson, and we went on to lose 1-2. Those are the breaks though. Looks like we will be out of Europe completely by December as I don't think finishing 4th gets you into any of the lower competitions? Don't follow football anywhere near as much as I used to these days, so a bit clueless.

The Hibs game was a farce in which they just set out to kick the living out of us and ended up with two reds and 5 yellows, so we cruised to a 7-0 win. The foul count was obscene.

    Just started with Rangers

Sifting through squad currently, looking to offload any poorly-rated players, and loan out for this season, at least, your Leon Kings / Robbie Ure etc to get some experience at the level they "currently operate" at.

Dont think I will be delving into transfer market, though I have offered trials to Jack Wilshere, Andy Carroll & Guiseppe Rossi for a fortnight. Central Defence & a GK for the future probably where I will look to if I do.

Need to get myself an AM with decent JPA & JPP as well as people & youngsters management stats.

Aiming to retain the title and reach the group stage of Champs League and look to the youth system to bring players through over the year...

Qualified for CL group stage despite some hairy moments (a poor 1-1 draw with Valur, Olympiacos scoring just before HT to make it 2-1 on agg and remove our away goal advantage)

I got lucky drawing Valur & Olympiacos. I was not so lucky in the Group stage draw:

Celtic up next to round out the month. Signed Patrick berg on loan, nothing left in the wage or transfer budget now so requested an increase from the board, now that the CL money has boosted the coffers. Not expecting 1) a positive response, or 2) a response before Sept 1st.

  5. Got FM2019 a couple days ago after a 5 year absence from the game. My desktop is quite old now, so didn't load much in the way of database or leagues based on the warnings at the start but its zipping through so wish I had put a bigger DB on now as I don't mind load times all that much (Especially with my The Wit Of Cricket book to pass the time). Anyway started as Leeds as I always do, quite a big difference in some parts to the last time I played, but the basics remain the same.

It's a bit odd not having to sell half the squad immediately when managing Leeds, as not experienced that since probably CM 01/02 ! With that being said, I literally have no exciting transfer tales to tell. Not one single in or out to speak of, though Kun Temenuzhkov went out on loan to Livingston.

Pre-season was average, started with a 4-1-4-1 but after two drab draws, switched to 4-2-3-1and haven't looked back. Beat Stoke first up thanks to an early Jack Harrison goal. Brought back down to earth the foloowing weekend by Derby County (can't remember their managers name ), an 89th & 95th minute double from Jack Marriott giving them a 3-1 win. Then lost only 1 between then and the October international break (3-4 home to Preston). Through to Carabao Cup fourth round thanks to high-scoring wins over Charlton (3-2), Derby (2-2, 5-4 on pens) & Leicester (4-2). Despite what you may think, our defence isn't all that bad, though we are conceding at a rate of a goal a game in the league.
