  1. Wondering if anybody else has experienced this.

I just got promoted to the EPL even though I tried not to (go figure) as the squad is nowhere near good enough.

I figured at some point the board would sort the finances and I'd have something to work with, but no, already into pre-season and I have a transfer budget of £1,850 and a wage budget of £240,000. It bizarrely says my transfer budget next year will be £21m.

I cant offer contract renewals so every player has the hump because they all want huge pay rises and I have no money. The "we cant afford it" response doesnt work for every player either. The board request for more money is not available, neither is the increased wage budget. I cant afford to renew half the staff either so most of them are on rolling deals.

Now I just sit and watch as all the out of contract players I've been scouting are hoovered up by championship clubs.

Also, the board sold my starting goalie in April (to leave in june) and they gave me the money, then took it away shortly after.

Surely if you win the playoff final the game should just trigger an influx of money immediately?

Something with the contract... check his contract page and offer? says he's considering an offer..

That was me, When he came to me with his issues I offered him a better deal, then went looking for him in my squad. I was so lost.

Thanks @KUBI found the thread I'm looking for

  3. Not sure where to post this, but I initially noticed that Porto had a player who'd been released etc. but he never left porto and doesnt play.

Now I've just taken over at Heerenveen and after about a month this guy came to me unhappy about his contract, I've never heard of him. He's not in my squad or in the reserves, but it seems to be the same issue.

  4. ^ Obviously, that's a joke.

Ok, random event or not, when a player has the hump and misses training etc. at least I'm aware of whats going on. In the middle of the off-season a young player (he's 17 or 18) drops 10 determination because of "off-field events" suggests an actual thing happened that I could read into and understand, maybe through a news item or something on the social media page.

Perhaps I should move this to the feedback section, suggest that maybe they actually add a little substance to this. If it actually said "personal issues" I'd have taken it differently of course. The fact that the only interaction option I have is to criticise conduct suggests he did something wrong. If there was an option to do something positive and mentoring towards him that would be a great feature.

The wording is just so vague I have no idea what to do with the kid. If they could implement these events where you just got a fraction more understanding it'd be an excellent feature.
