[[FM20]USA Real Life Expansion by Uncle Sam]

I’m new to playing Football Manager on PC (got this because of the epic games free game week).  I got this database, but I’m a little confused.  I’m playing as a college team, but I’m not sure how to recruit good players for my team. 

When I scout for players, no young players really show up and I don’t know exactly how to look for players that would be eligible for my college team.  
 

Can anyone help?

Yes I am American and I’ve only recently gotten into football in the past few years so no worries there.  I’m used to the coaches here being able to stay for 2+ years even if they don’t do that well so it’s just interesting how managers sometimes don’t last a year.  Thank you and everyone else for your input. 

[Manager Firings?]

I know this seems like a dumb question but I’m not as big of a soccer/football fan as many of you guys are.  Are the manager firings realistic?  I always see managers who get fired after just one season or less. There are also some managers that get in a top 5-10 league position but still get fired.  I know some of that has to do with the clubs expectation of the manager, but it seems a little too frequent.

I would like to be able to manage in the lower leagues in the USA (at least the USL Championship and USL League One).  My favorite soccer team is in the USL Championship so I have always wanted to manage them, but I never can.  Is there a reason why this hasn’t been implemented or can’t be implemented?  Maybe due to licensing issues?
