[Question About Taking a 10th Tier Team to the Prem]

I've just started a save as a tier 8 team, and am struggling to find anyone who wants a non/amateur contract. Everyone wants part-time. Is this the norm? I have like £50 wage budget and some of my players are being poached, finding it hard to replace them as no players seem to want a non-contract.

The club world championship has started on my game, I'm in 2025 so it's the second edition. 

Does anyone have any idea how qualification is decided? And where I can get this information, doesn't seem to align to champs league or europe league winners, so confused.

I know it is the vogue of FM to find those young Argentinians and have an average squad age of 22...

Contrarian to this I'm looking at signing a 33 year old Perisic on a free transfer, his physical stats haven't fallen off a cliff yet. 

My questions, what's the best way of keeping these older, wise heads going, like a Scholes/Giggs type renaissance that sees them going til 40. First thoughts, is getting the best physical coaches and concentrating on these stats in their training?

Any other ideas? Thanks all.
