[Work Permit Causes Transfer Collapse, but player blames me for rejecting the bid.]

I've had this same issue - one of my players, Clement Diop, wanted to leave as he was worried about not getting a work permit when his contract was renewed. I agreed to sell him and accepted two bids, one from Phoenix Rising FC and one from Swindon. Diop rejected the offer from Phoenix to move to Swindon, even though they're another club based in England, which I thought was a little strange... the application for a work permit failed, Swindon cancelled the transfer, and now he's unhappy with me for "rejecting" the bid.

Yes, the appeal failed, but it’s been more than 120 days and I still can’t do anything in terms of Frauendorf’s contract/work permit. In previous games, if you were renewing a contract for a player and they couldn’t get a work permit, I believe you had two options - extend the contract anyway and apply for a work permit at a later date, or cancel the contract renewal. In this case, I cancelled the contract renewal, but the game doesn’t seem to have registered that. I can’t make another contract offer or reapply for a work permit, I can only either keep him on a rolling contract with no work permit, or release him.
