Sent in game.  Sorry it's a fair bit on from when I played them, and they've got themselves a goalie now...

I recently played against Besiktas in the Champs League and scored 8 goals. I thought it was just a freak result. In the 2nd match, I scored 8 again. I had a look and it turns out they didn't have a goalkeeper in their squad (which seemed to be full.) During the game, it was a different player in goal for each highlight. 

Their other matches seemed to have realistic score lines though.

When a player retires, he just disappears from the game.  The news message tells you about it and gives you a link to the team. Would it be possible for that message to come up the day before the player retires, so you can have a look at his career before he disappears?

 

Oh, and can we suppress the "That's his first goal of the season" message for the first game of the season?  Obviously it's his first goal of the season as it's his first game of the season.  It's everyone's first game of the season...
