 Hi everyone. I'm creating a DB where Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire opted to join Conmebol rather than Concacaf. I succefully modified Conmebol's competitions to accommodate the extra teams (modifying the format, and taking into account which nations are affiliated to FIFA or just to Conmebol).

 Now I'm facing some issues when modifying the Gold Cup, Nations League and Concacaf WC qualifiers. When ever I ran the tests, it always throws teams missing, but the log shows all the teams are correctly allocated.

 

Has anyone faced any issue when modifying this competitions?

[[Suggestion] - Improve profile creation.]

The title it's kind of vague, I looked up and didn't find something similar. I would like to have an option when creating my profile for:

- Set my level of fluency in a given language. EG, I speak Spanish and English fluently, and have basic understanding of Italian and Portuguese.
- Set why a team in my list of favorites is there, because I'm a supporter, because i was a former player, just like other people in-game get.
- Set a list of disliked teams (and the reason why). EG, I'm a Boca Juniors fan, so the game assumes I dislike River Plate, but I also dislike Platense, while not entirely supporting it's rival.
- Set a list of liked personal and why. EG, I'm a big fan of Marcelo Bielsa, I would like to set he's my idol.
- Set a list of disliked personal and why. EG I want to start already with a nemesis. Perhaps a previous manager or a player of a rival club.

 It would be awesome it at the moment of selecting past experience, we could also set the amount of caps/goals, which position we used to play as player and years active. That could also trigger random relationships. So if I set I was an International for Argentina, with 20 caps as a defender, then based on the years active and my age, I would get a random relationship with Pablo Zabaleta or Martin Demichelis

AFAIR, Atlhetic limitation is hard coded in the source code. However, you can add, under Club Vision, a philosophy to sign players of X nation (Calatunya in your case)

[How to change World Cup Qualifying?]

Some years ago, I had this crazy idea, of recreating the Spanish Viceroyalties in South and Central America, and i started creating it now.
So I added 3 new countries to Conmebol, and moved Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada, from Concacaf to Conmebol, thus the amount of teams in WC Qualy, went from 10 to 16.
 So I want to split it into 2 groups, with the 2 top teams of each group qualifying for WC, and the 3rd and 4th team, playing a 2-leg playoff, to access the playoff for the extra WC place.

 But when I go to add rule -> International Rule, it only allow me to create a new competition, and not add rules to the existing one.

Any one know how I can change this? If I create a new competition, I can still link it to World Cup?

[B team / Reserve teams - is there really a difference?]

As rich_barnes said, B teams are not the reserves. they play competitive football, for instance, Real Madrid Castilla (Real Madrid B) and Barcelona B, play in the Spanish Second Division (Liga Adelante).

I'm not sure about other leagues than spanish using B teams (the only other case I know, is Ajax and Jong Ajax, also playing 1st and 2nd tier leagues), but in the spanish league system, there are some restrictions, B teams can't play A teams (in the same way, C teams can't play B teams). Castilla won several times the Second Division, but was not promoted, since Real Madrid was already playing in the top division, the same way when Villareal were demoted to Segunda Division, Villareal B was demoted to Segunda B (3rd Tier) despite finishing in the 12th position.

Most B teams in Spain, play in the 3rd Tier League, except for Real Madrid Castilla and Barcelona B. Real Madrid Also have a C team, playing in the 4th Tier League.

Since 1990, B Tams, can't participate in the Copa del Rey either. Castilla is the only B team to reach the final of the Copa del Rey, in the 79/80 season, playing the final against, yes, Real Madrid. The senior team won the match 6-1.

I know in france, the reserve teams play in the 4th tier league and below, and can't be promoted further than the 4th tier.
