[Squad value dropping out of nowhere?!]

Have replied to one or two threads reporting the exact same issues below, but have decided to start my own thread and log my own bug as I have the saves available if SI are willing to look into them.

Background:

Started a save with Dundalk FC in the League of Ireland, have gone on to become the dominant club in Ireland and have won the league every season, along with regularly qualifying for Champions League/Europa League group stages and occasionally into the KO rounds. The aim long term is to make the League of Ireland a competitive league in Europe. As a result of my success, the leagues reputation and coefficient has shot up from what it was - it is now ranked around 18th in UEFA coefficient and I have Dundalk ranked around 45th best club in UEFA. Every year my player values have been slowly increasing as you would expect.

Issue:

I noticed while playing yesterday, just before the summer transfer window opened (end of June) that all of my players values decreased sharply overnight. Some examples of this: Star striker who was valued at ~500k is now down to 130k, my best player who was valued around 700k is now down to 160k, other players all experiencing similar drops. This happened completely out of nowhere - it is not contract related as even players I offered new deals to have dropped, I have not missed out on Europe or had a poor season, the league and clubs reputation are still improving so it can't be this. 

I have looked this up on this forum and found at least two similar reports (one, incidentally is also in the Irish league), yet SI have not seemed to be able to resolve the issue or offer an explanation into how/why it's happening.

I then realised a short while ago that I might have a backup save to before the issue happened, which I loaded up and played around with for a while hoping that the issue would not happen again, but it did. The issue appears to happen around the 2nd/3rd June 2027. It's confusing as nothing particularly strange happens around this time, ie - the club rankings and coefficients are not announced for at least another week or two after this.

 

I have the save available for upload if anyone can look into this issue (and inform me how to upload a save!).

[Value of Squad dropped significantly ... is it a bug??]

@stewy8888 ever get an update about this? The exact same thing is just after happening to me (except I'm managing Dundalk instead of Bohemians).

Would love to know what caused it? Is there a way it can be fixed? Or will player values ever go back up to normal? 

It's not worth persisting with the game if my player values are permanently going to be so low.

I came on to log, more or less, the exact same issue. I am managing Dundalk in Ireland, but like yourself am about 6 years into the save and have them getting into Europe every season. 

 

Although my player values are not as high as yours, the exact same issue happened where the values dropped by about 60-80% out of the blue. It could not be any on the pitch factors as giving players contracts doesn't work, my team and league is doing better than ever. 

This happened to me yesterday, the only things I can add are that yesterday I added a skin/logo pack for the first time. Could this have triggered a bug? 

 

Would love to hear an answer from SI. That's disappointing to hear the values never recovered, hard to know if its worth continuing in that case.
