[Squad Registration > Filter > Do not need to be registered - incorrect filtering of players]

I just had this too.

Uploaded my save via ownCloud: 'geofft - inaccurate filter squad registration.fm' from a day or two before registration.

The player effected is Yusuf Demir. He is 20 years old at the time and joined less than two years ago. That means he requires registration, but selecting the filter to hide players who do not need to be registered excludes him from the view. This resulted in me inadvertently omitting him from the squad, which upset him as you might expect.

As an addendum, I have just received an Inbox item asking me to confirm U18 availability, even though I have no unfit first team players to choose from, so it appears that is not a requirement for this issue.

 

It's been happening all season too. I don't pay attention to the U18s calendar so can't say if there have been any games where I haven't been asked to make first team players available.

I have had this too. Player (Thiago) was out for 3 months, then complained about playing time for the same reason, trying to break into the national team, so that could be relevant.

If you want to make 5 subs total, you'll need to make 2 or 3 subs at the same point during a match. If you make three individual subs, you won't be able to make any more.

So far it seems to be happening before every U18s game when I have at least one unfit first team squad member, but I haven't played very far into the season.

I noticed it in FM21 as well but never logged it as a bug.
