    1. You will need to give more evidence for paces and acceleration e.g. is he faster than slower than x who has Y. At 18/19 you suggest he is one of the fastest people in the world who plays football, is this correct?

    2. You need to be a lot clearer than this regarding his position. Each position has a 1-20 option. I believe he can play in midfield and up front but in what positions. There are 4 positions up front and 4 in midfield

    Hi,

    1. For players that play at League 1 / League 2 level, he is quicker then Elliot List (Stevenage) Accerleration 16, Pace 15 and on par with Alex Kiwomya (Doncaster Rovers) Acceleration 19, Pace 17 but not as quick as Tyler Magloire (Rochdale AFC on loan from Blackburn Rovers) Acceleration 20, Pace 20.

    2. Positions are ST (C) & AM(RLC).

    Quotes from various media articles below describing his position and attributes;

    "Liverpool, Leicester, Manchester City and Arsenal have also made checks on the lightning quick youngster who can play through the middle or out wide."

    "A deep-lying defence is not what teenage speedster Ricky-Jade Jones wants so a starting place for the youngster is unlikely."

    "Liverpool, Leicester, Arsenal and Manchester City are also thought to be keeping tabs on Peterborough's speedy striker."

  2. Will start off as Peterborough United.  A young squad with huge potential.

    GK - Pym (24)
    RB - Mason (22)
    CB - Kent (23)
    CB - Beevers (29)
    LB - Butler (25)
    RW - Maddison (26)
    CM - Reed (22)
    CM - Boyd (34)
    LW - Dembele (23)
    ST - Eisa (25)
    ST - Toney (23)

    ----------------------------------------
    GK - O'Malley (25)
    RB - Thompson (28)
    CB - Bennett (28)
    CB - Knight (22) Also plays CDM/CM
    LB - Blake-Tracy
    RW - Tasdemir (19)
    CM - Woodyard (26)
    CM - Burrows (17)
    LW - Ward (24)
    ST - Kanu (19)
    ST - Jones (16)

    Will be fun to see if I can replicate the teams performances in real life, in the game.

    The attacking quartet of Eisa, Toney, Maddison and Dembele will score goals in League 1,  to hopefully  win promotion to the Championship + Premier League but only if the owners don't sell are best players in FM.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Will also be interesting to see what the 'club vision' is, as the owners have said in real life;

    “We’ve set the Academy staff a goal for three graduates every year to be good enough to be taken on at first-team level by the year 2024. It is a demand if you like. If they are not producing three players every season then they are not doing their job.”

    Also the chairman Darragh Macanthony has set objectives for this season;

    * Promotion and the League One title.
    * Fantastic football for our fanbase.
    * Excellent home record.
    * Complete the purchase of the stadium.
    * Smash 5.5k season tickets sales when they go on sale again in February/March.
    * 120 goals scored & 25 clean sheets.
    * Golden Boot winner.
    * Three players in EFL team of year.
    * Manager of year trophy.
    * Checkatrade Trophy.
    * See another youth graduate play for England Under 20s.
    * Two strikers to score 20 league goals each.
    * Continue growth of new fans through fantastic schools initiative.
    * See our under 18s go deep in the FA Youth Cup.
    * Turn down a £5 million plus bid for two of our players in January window (it would mean we are having a fantastic season).
    * Smash all our commercial targets.
    * Average 8k home gates.
    * Go through January without signing a player (also means squad doing its job).
    * More facilities at our training ground.
    * Take all players/staff away to Vegas or the Bahamas to celebrate a successful season.
    * Pay for all non-football staff to have holidays with their families at the end of season for doing their bit.

  3. Peterborough United!!!

    A team full of young hungry footballers which will be difficult to keep intact with talents such as Baldwin(21), Burgess(22), Santos(19), Ntlhe (20), Payne(22), Anderson(18), Taylor(22), Newell(21), Maddison(20), James(19), Vassell(22), Washington(22).

    Will be the youngest squad in League 1!! Hope to get them to the Premier League!!

    For a long term save probably Barrow Afc in the Conference North with there new american owner Paul Casson who has completed a £600k takeover of the club and has revamped the squad in the summer for a promotion push!!

  4. Hi

    I won the SPL & League cup with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in my first season then I resigned because I wanted to manage a team in a different country. I applied for various jobs around the world and I've still not got a job even after winning two trophies in my 1st season in management.

    Surely winning the SPL with anyone but Celtic must make you a wanted manager?

    Neil Lennon gets sacked, I apply for the job and they give the job to Nigel Clough :confused:

    Why is it so difficult to get another job even after being successful?

  5. Ebbsfleet United

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22729295

    Stonebridge Road outfit are now "completely debt-free."

    As part of their takeover plans, KEH Sports Ltd proposed a transfer budget for next season of £100,000 and a wage budget of £8,000 per week as well as committing to the construction of a new stand at Stonebridge Road.

    Wow 100k transfer budget & 8k wage budget in the Blue Square South is a fortune!!

    Build Ebbsfleet from a BSS team to Premier league team.

  6. Has anyone else seen this?

    If you can't see the image, the image was a item from the news screen, alerting you about your managerial debut. Miller to make managerial debut - news item

    "Reisse Miller is set to make his managerial when Newcastle take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. (ok fine)

    Of course, we are only guessing its Miller's first game in management - he may be a long-term fan of the Football Manager series, in which case its another day at the office! (very true) :p
