[Hotseat Game - Loading Error]

Any updates? This might only be a small thing, but it's one of the most frustrating ones I've ever had.

[Adding a new Head Coach in a FM23=>24 transfer save will make you unable to access your original coach when you load the file back up]

I've logged the same issue and they seem to struggle to understand what's going on. Seems like it would be an easy one to fix. 

If you open the Game Status page then you can take control of the other manager after you load your save.

It's pretty simple...

 

Load the save game I've uploaded. You'll notice if you open the Game Status page one of the managers is no longer in control and has to Take Control again. 

Save the game again, reload it, and the same thing happens again.

The whole point of the bug is we are not deliberately Relinquishing Control. The game is saved with us both in control, but when you load it up for a new session, one manager is always not in control of their team.

This is still broken after the last update... A month after it was first reported, 1/12 of the game's life span done already. That's hardly good customer service.

I can always continue past the date, save the file and then send it across to you, but can't guarentee you won't encounter it at a later point if it is a machine issue. 

I'm way past that date on my new save now, which means it must have been a resources issue! Weird still, considering it was always at the same Date/Time.

Interesting, I've never had an issue with the number of players, Maybe I've finally found a version that means I need a PC upgrade? It's great news that it isn't a save issue.

 

I'll create a smaller database in FM2023, convert it, and holiday whilst I'm working today and see how it goes!

PS: It's 23:00 that the game crashes, so just keep continuing to there. The save is from 29th May.
