so PSG obviously came in with an offer for one of my star players, he was valued between £25-£30 million in the Scottish Premier league. After some long negotiating I got them to agree £20M upfront and £20M in instalments, it was the best I could manage.

Before I went to agree offer thought I would chat to the player to see if he wanted to stay, he's loved by the fans and a team leader at the club so thought worth a shot. He said no and just out of chance I asked if we could negotiate a fair price to sell, he said £73M and I agreed.

After this the PSG transfer offer reverted straight to £73M up front which I was getting nowhere near in negotiations and the player is absolutely nowhere near that value, lucky if he is a lower prem player, needless to say I accepted the offer and it went through for £73M.

Anyone else came across this? Think it will only work if you get the option to discuss with the player during negotiations and have already agreed terms via the suggest terms method with the other team, waiting on another of my players to have this option to test further

I have attached screenshots of a different transfer at a slightly lesser value than previously stated but the fact remains I negotiated an acceptable deal with the other team and then discussed with the player and agreed a different value with them which after doing so automatically changed the other teams transfer offer to the value agreed with the player without negotiating, I know in previous versions it would have stayed at the original value when leaving the chat with the player. Unfortunately, I am further on in game now and no longer have a save file prior to both of the transfer offers.
