  • Lack of flexibility between purchases and sales

hello, I just experienced what looks like a bug or, at least, something nonsense.

Last day of the transfer window. I have 0 euro and my wage total is at its limit, so no chance to any flexibility.

I receive an offer for a player. 9M€. Ok, I didn't expected it, but it is a good offer, so I accept it. But now I need a replace for him, with not so much remaining time until deadline.

Obviously my replacement must be less expensive and earn less than his predecessor. It's clear. Well, I found my man. 5 million and half salary. I place an offer to his team and got accepted. Now I only have to finalize a salary offer to him.

But...end of the game. I have any money still available in my wage total, so I could offer to him no more than two potatoes and a carrot. All my project to make a good player trade got nullfied.

it is clear that the offer that I'd like to make to my goal would have been possible as part of the money earned from the last minute sale. The result, on the other hand, was very frustrating and I feel I wasted a little time for nothing, due to a bug that does not take into account the dependency between the two events.

It would be nice to be able to link in incoming and outgoing operations in a more intelligent way. Which, of course, also means automatically cancelling the incoming operation if for any reason the outgoing one fails.

Has the deal for the departing player already been confirmed at this time? Or was this prior to the player actually departing your club for the agreed amount.

In this specific case my player later refused the transfer. Clearly I couldn't know when I was offering the contract to the replacement
