    Good evening !

I started a save with Chelsea and they only have 15M budget for the first transfer market while City has 100M. I understand Chelsea spent quite a lot but at the end of the market, we were still trying to buy Leao for 100M and other players which means that the club must of had more than 15M left in the bank. So why is it setup like that in the game ?

    Thanks !

Thanks for taking the time to post this, but its not a bug but rather something set by our research team. Transfer budgets aren't indicative of a clubs remaining balance. We have to estimate the amounts we feel a club would be looking to offer on transfers, and while a club might sanction a high value move for a specific individual that is more a board level decision (like asking the board to sign a specific player) rather than it being indicative of funds available for general squad building. A comparison with Man City is irrelevant from a research perspective, the Chelsea researcher would have no interest in what Man City have their budget set at when deciding what they feel Chelsea would sanction spending.
