  • Lack of transfer activity (Chinese players) between Chinese clubs

Having played in China, mainly in the CSL for many FMs now I have noticed that Chinese clubs don't behave realistically in the transfer market. Especially when it comes to Chinese players.

I follow the Chinese Super League closely and despite many clubs having financial problems, there are still a lot of transfers of Chinese players between clubs.

Clubs like Wuhan Three Towns, Shandong and Shanghai Port in the past few seasons have picked up the best Chinese players on free transfers from clubs in financial difficulty.

Even clubs with financial difficulties see a large turnover of Chinese players.

Even in game when Chinese players contracts run out, they aren't linked or do not get transferred to other Chinese clubs which is very unrealistic. Often they move to Japan or Australia which almost never happens in real life.

Or the Chinese players remain free agents for multiple seasons and never get a transfer which again is quite unrealistic.

In order to make the FM experience in China more realistic I would love to see Chinese clubs behave more realistically in game when it comes to the transfers of Chinese players.

Also I would like to mention that Wuhan Three Towns (having just one their first CSL title) need a reputation increase as well as a financial boost as in real life they are one of the wealthiest clubs in China with the most financial backing.

Please feel free to feedback based on winter update from last weekend with our initial fix to this problem, through forum messaging.

The transfer winter indeed was to be balanced better, but it predicted a bit of current situation(2022-23 winter).

WH3T repu: with the most financial backing-yes as you pointed out, it's comparative, let's see their action in upcoming season preparing for ACL. Our source and research over there currently focus on how their transition from Tazihu into new training base goes, as it costs money.
