I've been trying my hand at a stats-based Moneyball-esque save for the first time, but I've noticed that "Cross completed compared to crosses attempted" frequently doesn't seem to correlate even remotely closely with what I would expect to be a simple percentage of "Overall number of crosses completed" divided by "Overall number of crosses attempted"
I'm seeing massive discrepancies with this - apparently 14 crosses completed / 100 attempted = 43%, while 17 completed / 100 attempted = 0%.
This makes comparisons between players rather difficult, as that column is so unreliable. Looking at the players with the most crosses attempted last season in my save, Kirilenko has more completed and fewer attempted than Sahin, yet somehow has a lower completion ratio?! Of these 4 people, Dasa's the only one whose displayed percentage is correct. Trippier's should be 19%, Sahin's should be 11% and Kirilenko's should be 12%.
