First issue I noticed was that in the schedule it says that I payed the 2nd leg before the first one which might be why this bug occured.
What I believe happened was that the champions league fixture pushed the 1st leg to a different date which ended up being after the 1st one since after that match we got knocked out of the champions league which may have been what caused the game to take the 3-0 win over benfica in the 1st game (as you can see in the image below) as a draw, forcing a second game which ended 1-1 to go onto extra time and penalties as shown in the screenshots below aswell.
I'll also add the savefile below I believe it is only after the match has been played but yeah that's the issue I had.
