  • Inbox Issue Impacting Crucial Elements Of The Game

This issue has rendered critical errors, unfortunately.

When playing with multiple players or teams on an original, local game, the game's screen flow bypasses the inbox completely, so at any given point, you have 100, 150+ messages to sift through. There are multiple and abnormal consequences to this which are ruining the game experience and bypassing game rules.

    1) If you bid for a player, even if you manually circle back to the manager or team that has bid for him, if a day or two passes organically, the bid is rejected.

    2) On Staff Responsibilities, I have selected that the manager finalises all incoming and outgoing transfers. The computer finalises transfers (if the contract has been negotiated successfully) as the game does not revert to the confirmation of transfer screen, as the bug bypasses the inbox.

    3) Deadline day is truly problematic, due to the frenetic nature of the inbox. Transfers are stopped or cancelled continuously. It is pointless playing when you can't put together the team you want.

    4) Finally, there are multiple decisions that are missed, even when you manually click the inbox instead of waiting for the screen flow, you have 50-150 messages waiting for you, with random decisions made.  Multiple veteran players are having the same issues.

The last patch did not address any of the above.

    Please advise.

Thank you - I have stopped playing the game as the above has made it untenable.

    Appreciated.

Are you the host of the game in question? Having loaded up a network game and tested the behaviour of this, within a couple of continues on the very next day attention had been diverted back to the inbox. What is the set-up for this game and what preferences are you using in terms of forced continues if any?
