I've been using the In-Game editor to move contract free players to my club and change their wages afterwards to smaller amounts. Although I do this and the wages are correct, I get this: As you can see, the overall is the correct sum (all players wages sum) but the "Current player payroll total" is very large in comparison. This leads me to believe that some "contractual" amounts (WHICH I CANT SEE) are being added by the game once I "transfer" them to my team using the In-Game editor. This is very annoying because you can't edit those amounts and soon after putting 3-4 players in your team, your payroll budget is topped 10 times. Is this a bug or did just no one think of it when creating the "move to my club" feature?
