help getting more assists out of my wingbacks and more goals from my Amc's

Recommended Posts

Basically I'm doing very well but there are parts of my tactic that i feel need tweaking namely my wingbacks who dont seem to be creating/assisting enough and my Amc's who seem to aste alot of chances

  • Roam from postion to encourage movement
  • Shorter passing/retain possesion as keeping the ball is central to what I want
  • play out of defence/work into box/ Much lower tempo becuase I want more patient play
  • no 100% sure about thisa as i've seen posession tactics where people limit the risky pases but I usualy have 60%+ possesion and create like 5+ cc's a match but never reach those insane levels of like 80% so that could be looked at
  • much higher defensive line/offside trap / hassle opponents/use tighter marking/ pushed up wingbacks to basically deny space/time
  • be more expresive to alow creativity to break down defenses
  • look for overlap/exploit the middle - stumbled on this combo by acident and it seems to work though I have to take it of against formations like flat 4-5-1's and some 4-4-2's and formations with 2 dm's-
  • during the mtch I also use defensive/counter+ play narrower or control/attacking+ play wider

I have the third most goals with 49 while arsenal have 67 and Chelsea 69, I have conceded the least (12) while the next best man city conceded 22 and stoke 25.

Basically what I want help with is

  • My wb's shot from silly positions instead of squaring the ball for tap in's. The classic through ball to the wb who then pases across the face of goal/cuts it back never happens as my Wb's either shot or take to long. (basically I want this

  • Is there a ay to specify ground crosses/pases into the box
  • Players in general being selfish although my amc's seem les so than my wb's so the suport role may have an efect but suporting wb's wouldn't be in the position in the first place
  • I want to have multiple players break through the defensive line so that when a player gets in behind he has the option to pass for a tap in as my players aren't the best finishers. I get multiple players making runs but when they realise the ball isn't coming to them they stop running.
  • my Sk afte catching the ball wil pas to my cb's/Hb straight away while attackers are still right there puting them under pressure
  • I don't know how kil of games by just knocking the ball about
  • what do you do when the oppisition players are presing your back line but your midfielders aren't dropping deep to get the ball
  • does any know how to create a rotating midfield with players droping into the backline. I have it with the cm's with the am's dropping into midfield but I dont know how to get the DM involved without not using the HB role and sacrificing the split CD/dm drops in thing. Basicaly what I want is the Hb moving up into midfield dragging a marker with him and another player takes his place (watch recent liverpool match to see what I mean)
  • I need help with setpieces, Indirect fre kicks always go straight to the keeper and most of my corner goals are from the ball not being cleared properly .

Apologies for any spelling mistakes, my keyboard is playing up.
