de_giles111 Posted December 8, 2008 Share Posted December 8, 2008 Hey all, been a big FM fan for many years but skipped last years edition due to being overseas travelling so just bought fm 09. Noticed it's quite slow I used to run Large DB with a few leagues running but it was virtually unbearable on this edition? - is it much slower in general? I've downloaded the patches etc people have talked about in other threads. My comps specs are AMD XP 3400+ 1GB PC3200 DDR - upgrading to 2gb not just for FM but in general to quicken things up a bit. Geforce 4 something arother video card (should definantly be sufficient for fm). Does anyone have a similar setup and could recommend a league / databse size combo? I'm looking for it to be pretty quick but also as much detail as possible... Thinking maybe small DB, championship and above - but that really limits the players in the game so I'm not sure...
