problem loading after skin install and now they want my activation key again

I had selected a new skin (flex09) from my drop down menu and it started to load up. It was taking over 30 minutes and so I cntl+alt+delete and canceled the program. I then tried to restart the game and when it loads up, the screen that usually comes up and shows "create new game" and "load previous game" and so on, that screen isn't there. All my screen shows is a completely black screen. Any way i can fix this? Do I delete the skin folder or something to go back to the old skin?

Now, when I click on the game, it tells me my trial period has ended and asks me to re-enter my activation code. I don't want to do this, because I thought I only get a few chances to activate and I want to loan the game on another computer.

BTW, I have WWSM 09 and it is DVD.
