Stream Query (Purchased Boxed Copy)

Hi Guys,

A quick query that can be answered in a second, but I want some clarification.

I have purcahsed the CD and registered it on stream and its on my Desktop.

If i were to purchase a new laptop and was to use the same purchased cd and key to install it on to my new laptop, would this possible? If so, how? Would i need to download stream application on the laptop and log in and access the game there?

I am a bit puzzled, surely its not the be all and all if you buy the game, it isnt limited to one lowsy machine?
