Learning New Preferred Moves

I have had look through this forum, and I can't find an answer, but I apologise if this question has been asked before.

I am looking to train some players to learn new moves, but there is no option for me to do it, and I don't know why.

I can see the drop down list for training a new position, but there isn't one there for a new move.

I have only just bought the game and started a new season and I am still in pre-season, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it?
