Is there any point???

Hi,

After reading the comments about all the problems of FM09 and the hassle of doing this and that to get the game working "properly", is there any point in me buying the game or am i going to spend several hours trying to get the game workin

Its quite a dilemma i've got because i'm addicted to the demo as Shrewsbury Town and cant continue until i've bought the game!!
