godderz1
I get to the end of the installation and a message comes up saying installation complete but some errors occurred. When i do load the game i then get a fm.exe message like what you get sometimes on internet , saying send report or dont etc etc. I think this is down to something on my work laptop to do with admin, any ideas of what and how to get around it? Hi. It could be that there was some problems with the installation. Try uninstalling the game fully and then re-installing. You can uninstall through "Control Panel -> Add & Remove Programs" Or by going to: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\Uninstall And running the uninstall.exe If you have installed to a different directory you can find the uninstall.exe there. Once that is complete follow these steps: Make sure the Football Manager 2009 program folder has been removed. This is located here if you have installed the game to the default directory: C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 Next you need to remove your Cache files Windows XP: 1. Open “My Computer” 2. Navigate to : “Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\ 3. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder. 4. Delete the “Football Manager 09” Folder. Wndows Vista: 1. Click “Start” 2. Click your username on the start Menu 3. Click on “AppData” and then “Roaming” 4. Go into the “Sports Interactive” Folder 5. Delete the “Football Manager 09” Folder. Finally go to your documents folder and clear the Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 folder. Now re-install the game and see if that has helped. Cheers.
