rpick86
...and I apologise for it. On network games, when I load them up, I get 2 ip addresses. Neither work. What can be done about it to make it work? Thanks in advance.
VMX
One is your local IP address (probably starting with 192.168...). The other one is your public IP address. You always need to use your public address if you want somebody else to connect to your game. But then, for them to be able to connect, you need to make sure you have the required ports open/forwarded from your router to your PC. I'm saying this from memory, but I recall the ports being 10092 and 10093 (both TCP and UDP)? Or was it 10093 and 10094? Can somebody please confirm that? Cheers. rpick86
Thanks in advance of any help, and thanks to VMX for the advice so far. I would have no idea how to "open ports", so any advice on that would be great too.
