Sure fire ways of improving a relationship with a player that is strained??

As said in the title, anyone have methods, that have a high success rate, that will improve a relationship with a player

Offer them a new contract..

Sign someone on their favoured personnel list..

Ask them for advice on a player or coach to sign..

Big them up to the media..

Usually by doing one or two of these things, it does the trick for me..

I can get the enjoying playing for the club but I cant sort the underlying personal issues that my assistant tells me about during the prematch analysis.

I have him on a 5 year contract, praising him when he plays well and asked him about signing players(told me it wasnt his job and got upset about it) before this thread and I'm at a loss to what more I can do for him. His career is doing great btw, the ungrateful ****!

All started because I wouldnt allow him to join another club

I notice his "hello" in the private chat is a "What have I done now" type response. I should have the option to bitch slap him for being such a child!!

I remember SI told me with FM09 or FM10 that there was issues with that type of response in the assman feedback but I thought they'd have it sorted by now!!
