jonpt Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 for a laptop i would only consider an intel chip, the AMD are fast ( i have an AMD pc and laptop) but battery life is poor. I'd aim for 3+ gb ram and the fastest intel chip you can get for your budget. have a look at the PC Pro website they do alot of reviews for laptops.
