Workaround for reinstating player withdrawn from international duty by club manager

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I have discovered a cheat to reinstate a player whom his club manager withdrew for an international match. For example, if players X, Y and Z have been withdrawn, then pick A as a replacement for X and continue. Then, pick Y as a replacement for X and the game will allow you to do so. Then, pick Z as a replacement for Y and so on.

Two questions with this workaround, is there an improved way to allow every single withdrawn player to be reinstated, rather than one less than the total as in above? Also, is there a way to decrease the chances of a club manager withdrawing his players without praising him? I refuse to praise Hristo Stoichkov that old bum in order for his Arsenal keeper to play.
