GFACEKILLAH
im managing blackburn, and for the first two seasons (09/10,10/11) all i got for a transfer budget was £500,000 (minimum) to a maximum of £750,000. now in 11/12 season, i managed to qualify for the uefa cup, and to my surprise i was given a £15,000,000 budget. a massive surprise. now thinking this was down to the extra revenue through the uefa cup, i thought it was quite reasonable. now though, ive just been given £25,000,000 in 12/13. why is this? i only progressed to the second stage of the uefa cup, and finished 11th in the league. i was 'debt ridden' through the season due to me buying players with installments, so why would i be given a bigger budget? is it down to me being there for 4/5 seasons now and the board having more confidence in me seeing as i fulfil the tasks they set? genuinely intrigued as to why it happens. pyewackett
Did Blackburn have any debts, then these debts were then gotten rid of therefore you've more spending power through, clearing these debts and performing very well sales of players too comes into mind. GFACEKILLAH
thats the thing, they had around £8m at the start, but we still had some when they gave me the £15m. even so, the board took out another loan just before they gave me £25m to spend!
