I understand the definition of it but when a player has for example Mark Cook of Newcastle has Ability of 62 but -4 for Potential, does that mean he will get worse as he gets older of better??? -lewis-16- Posted May 25, 2008 Share Posted May 25, 2008 the negative potential is just something si brought in so that young players have almost a random potential at the start a player with -10 potential would have between 170 to 200 a player with -9 potential would have between 150 to 180 and so on Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
