3d graphics too dark

Is there anyway I can make the players kits in the 3d view brighter? At the minute they are all so dark they look near enough the same, my team plays in a green kit, but even when i come up against teams playing in black and white stripes the look so similar because they kits so dark, its as if they are in shade type of thing. This is on a Mac by the way, but it wasn't like this on the demo, the kits were brighter. Sometimes when i switch between the 2d classic view back to 3d and it renders, for a few seconds the kits are nice and bright and the colours are much clearer then they go dark again. I have graphics on high, but even with them on low and auto its still the same, ive also tried turning off weather and sky, but still its the same

Anyone else have this problem or know how I can make the players and kits brighter? Maybe by editing some line of code or something?
