Game turns off at Start Screen

Was working fine yesterday, then when I tried to load it up this morning, and loading screen appeared just before the start screen (something which I've never seen before), and then it simply turns off.

I've re-installed it twice, the second time in a different location, and it still happens.

I have a Mac (only a year old), and I love the game, so this is pretty annoying.

Any help would be appreciated

I've just experienced the same/similar problem, after the league logos screen a loading screen appears, everything freeze and then I get this message:

"XML parsing error not well-formed line number 1 (invalid token) graphics/button/Continueclicked " or something like that.

I've also reinstalled it, but then the patch suddenly did'nt work, and I wasn't able to load my old games so I became so frustrated I've just killed the DVD( broke it and swore I'll never buy it again, which I probably will)

I had two great savegames, one with Manchester United and one with Celtic.

I have a MacBook, pretty crap but the game has worked nicely save a couple of crashes yesterday, for 10 days. SI: What's happening?
