Couple of questions????

My first question regards a players PPM, he is a defensive midfielder and his ppm is "plays short simple passes", so i make sure he is on short passing.....makes sense right?, during every match my assistant says he is used to playing a more direct game?????????, whats that all about?, why isnt his ppm "plays direct passes"?.

My second question regards assistant advice/opposition instructions, before every match he tells me to go in hard on most of the opposition players, so i follow his advice and about 5 mins and 3 yellow cards into the match, he says we should go easy and cut out the fouls????, anyone else found this?
