Problem with starting a game using editor data

hi i changed some data using the editor, but when i start a new game i cant seem to use the edited data. anyone know how to start agame using data that has been edited?

When you go to START NEW GAME and box will come up saying default database. At the bottom there is a small icon box, click change and then any saved data editors can be accessed. If you got more than one data editor saved make sure you mark the one you want. Also if you want to start an unedited game make sure you unark all saved editors.

I know its long winded but it will make sense when you see it
